Weaving colour

This is a new warp I am weaving at the moment, I am exploring my use of colour through dip dying techniques. From my previous warps I like the graduation colour achieved with dip dying as well as the strong solid colour achieved by using stripes of solid colour. Here I have designed my warp to have both of these elements working together to create an exciting , colourful fabric. I am also still designing for window treatments and lighting, using fine cotton for see-through areas, thicker mercerised cotton for solid, opaque areas and leaving areas of warp empty for long weft floats. A leno will keep the warp in place.
